The most valuable asset we have is Time. S&L Capital Group is a story about 2 colleagues who saw value in creating a business that allowed them to maximize the time they have, with the ones that matter the most.

Corey and Brad are graduates of California State University, Fullerton. After college their paths crossed again, when they worked together at a Los Angeles based Hard Money Lending Company. Their experience gave them the realization that an efficient and streamlined process can be realized from anywhere.

Both were on similar life paths of getting married and starting families of their own. A question kept coming up. “How do we build a business that allows us to enjoy more time with our family?”

The answer was easy. “By building a more efficient process.”

With that, S&L Capital Group was born. Taking an old school business with new school vision that focuses on your most valuable asset, Time.

Meet The Team

Corey Siegel

President / CEO

A graduate of California State University, Fullerton Corey Siegel Majored in Business Administration and obtained a Minor in Human Communication. He has built his business relationships with an emphasis on communication, transparency, and a willingness to be a sounding board for all his clients’ needs. Prior to founding S&L Capital Group with his business partner, Brad Laddusaw, Corey was Vice President Sales at a Los Angeles based private lending firm and holds an active CA DRE Broker’s License.

Corey brings a client service-based competitive spirit to S&L Capital Group. As the President & CEO, Corey focuses on overall growth in sales, origination, and the front-end side of the business. Each day he is motivated to answer 2 questions. How do we continue to increase our footprint as a service-oriented Private Lending Company? What steps do we need to take to identify clients who align with S&L Capital Group’s vision of growth and long-term success?

Residing in Brea, CA with his wife Katy, Daughter Ellie, Son Casey, and dog Wrigley, Corey is also an active member of The Rotary Club of Brea. Before moving to California, Corey was raised in the Chicagoland area. He’s an avid Chicago Sports fan and tries to stay active himself. You may find him playing adult league intramural sports, working out in his garage, or enjoying an occasional round of golf.

Bradley Laddusaw, CPA

CFO/CIO

Brad Laddusaw, CPA, graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a double major in Accounting & Finance. He started his career in the audit practice of Ernst & Young, where he serviced clients in the Real Estate, Home Building, and Retail Consumer Product industries. Subsequent to leaving Ernst & Young, he joined the Investor Relations team at a Los Angeles-based private lending company, where he quickly moved up the ranks to Vice President Finance.

In July 2017, Brad started S&L Capital Group, a Southern California-based private lending firm with his business partner, Corey Siegel, another Cal State Fullerton alumni. Since entering the private lending industry, he has been involved in underwriting and directly placing over $200,000,000 in trust deed investments to accredited investors and Family Offices.

Brad holds an active CA DRE Broker’s license, an active CPA license in the state of California, and is a Level II CFA Candidate. Brad is an active member of the California Mortgage Association (CMA) where he is the 2022 – ’24 Vice President and sits on the Education Committee, as well as the Board of Directors. He is a member of the Irvine Rotary Club and resides in Oceanside, CA with his wife Jerica, boys Landon and Logan, and golden retriever, Bud.

Brad enjoys playing in the Oceanside Men’s Basketball League and has a passion for surfing and golfing.
